The home of Remnant
Avodah Institute. Making Purpose Work.
Who we are
Work as worship, purpose as practice.
Avodah is the Hebrew word for both work and worship. Avodah Institute exists to cultivate faithful stewards who renew work, leadership, enterprise and institutions — serving the Church, the economy and public life.
Through research, formation, education, advisory practice and public witness, Avodah connects Christian wisdom with the concrete questions leaders and institutions face in their daily work.
Remnant is where that mission meets culture: a space for deep reflection, gatherings and partnerships that turn shared conviction into practical cultural and institutional renewal.
What Avodah does
Three reinforcing institutional functions.
01Research & thought leadership
Redesigning economy from a renewed understanding of the human person as created in the image of God.
02Formation & education
Strengthening purpose, culture and institutional stewardship through programmes that form faithful stewards.
03Advisory practice & public witness
Helping leaders, enterprises and institutions translate God-given purpose into faithful stewardship.
Practice will test the framework; research will interpret the learning; formation will carry it forward.
