Identity Beyond Productivity
An intimate evening salon on recovering a view of identity not exhausted by status, productivity or consumption.

In collaboration with
Awakening the Tribes of Africa

We seek to recover a view of identity that is not exhausted by status, productivity, consumption, or social systems, anchoring ourselves in our inherent, God-given purpose, dignity, and value.
Humanity has tied its identity to broken systems. As these structures falter, our sense of self-worth, meaning and dignity falters with them. This theme invites us to ask who we are outside of the assumptions and systems we built, and to anchor our identity in the One who made us.
The framework · Genesis 1:26–28
The fracture
Secular humanism has reduced the Imago Dei to autonomous individualism, decoupling our identity from our functional assignment as divine representatives.
The restoration
Restoration means reclaiming our identity as stewards appointed to manage the household (oikonomia) in a way that visibly mirrors the character, justice, and presence of Elohim.
